PICO RIVERA, CA, Sept. 10 (KNN) — A driver violently crashed dangerously close to a motel overnight in Pico Rivera.

The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday on the 8400 block of Telegraph Road just outside the Mid City Inn and Suites.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Pico Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a traffic collision at the location.
Firefighters at the scene reported one vehicle had crashed just outside the front of a building, hitting a telephone pole and knocking down wires.
The driver was allegedly speeding and lost control of the vehicle which caused it to flip, strike a tree and a pole. The vehicle was just shy of landing inside the lower units of the motel.
Debris and destruction was observed curbside in front of the motel.
Firefighters transported one patient to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
