2 Dodge T Rex Trucks Worth $200K Stolen From West Covina Dealership

WEST COVINA, CA, Sept. 12 (KNN) — Two Dodge Ram T Rex trucks that were brazenly stolen overnight from a dealership in the city of West Covina were recovered by authorities.

West Covina police officers responded to a Dodge dealership in the 200 block of North Azusa Avenue around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday for multiple suspects stealing Dodge Ram T-Rex trucks from the dealership lot valued at $100,000 each.

A total of two trucks were stolen from the lot and a total of three other trucks had broken back windows.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s airship put out a broadcast to California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park units for the two trucks stolen from the lot in West Covina.

A CHP unit was westbound on the 10 Freeway when he noticed two trucks driving by at high speeds.

A white Dodge truck was dumped in a residential neighborhood in the 300 block of West Ramona Boulevard just off the westbound 10 Freeway in the city of San Gabriel.

CHP was in pursuit of a second black Dodge pickup truck and led them to Manchester Avenue off the 110 Freeway where they dumped the vehicle and fled.

CHP Baldwin Park officers were able to recover both stolen vehicles.

All suspects dumped both trucks and fled the scene.
