ENCINO, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 (KNN) — Officers discovered a homeowner had shot at would-be robbers when they responded to a call for an incident at a home in Encino late Wednesday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon shooting on the 4200 block of Grimes Place around 10:45 p.m.
When units arrived, they discovered the homeowner had fired two shots at would-be robbers trying to enter the home.
The suspects fled before officers arrived.
A personal security company was also at the location.
The LAPD’s West Valley Division is handling the investigation.
