Firefighters Extinguish RV Blaze Threatening Structure in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 26 (KNN) — Firefighters were on the scene of recreational vehicle fire that extended into a nearby building in the Boyle Heights neighborhood within Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle on fire around 1:30 a.m. in front of a structure on the 3400 block of East 15th Street.

When crews arrived on scene, they located a small RV, fully engulfed in flames. The fire also started to extend into an adjacent metal clad structure.

Firefighters knocked down the flames in less than 10 minutes.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
