Gunshot Victim Found at Metro Green Line Station in South Los Angeles

Vermont Vista, Los Angeles, Sept. 28 (KNN) — A man was found suffering from gunshot wounds from a shooting that occurred at a Metro station in South Los Angeles late Thursday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Division patrol units responded to reports of a person shot at the Metro Harbor Freeway Green Line Station around 11:20 p.m. on the 11500 block of South Figueroa Street in the Vermont Vista neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down in the parking lot with several gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.
