Car Shooting in East Hollywood Leads to Pursuit Crash Involving Alleged Suspects

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 2 (KNN) —Shots were fired at an occupied vehicle late Sunday night which later led to a police pursuit and crash involving the alleged suspects.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division patrol units responded to reports of shots fired at a vehicle with another vehicle speeding away from the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Kingsley Drive in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

When officers arrived on scene, they located an occupied vehicle struck by gunfire. The occupant in the vehicle was not injured.

A short time later, LAPD Northeast units were involved in a short pursuit of a white SUV that crashed just south of the intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles.

The occupants in the white SUV are believed to be the shooting suspects from Kingsley Drive.

The suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
