Male Found Shot in Mid City Neighborhood of Los Angeles

MID CITY, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 2 (KNN) — A male was found shot at an apartment building early Monday morning in the Mid City neighborhood within Central Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division patrol units responded to an apartment building on the 4800 block of West 17th Street for a shooting call around 2 a.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was transported in unknown condition to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.

Witnesses stated off camera they heard three gunshots prior to the arrival of first responders.

There are no further details at this time.
