Brush Fire Burns in Chatsworth

Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA: A fire was burning in approximately one acre medium brush with 20 mph winds (from the west) at the Westbound 118 Freeway between De Soto Avenue and Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth around 11:06 a.m. Wednesday, Apr. 6, 2022.

Firefighters from Los Angeles City and Ventura County Fire Departments were on the scene in coordinated support of the Los Angeles County Fire Department as the fire was fought in offensive mode.

All visible flames were reported extinguished by the early afternoon, according to LAFD. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
