Jefferson Park Residential Fire Displaces Multiple Occupants

JEFFERSON PARK, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 (KNN) — An attic fire in a home in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles displaced multiple residents overnight.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 3500 block of 5th Avenue for reports of a structure fire.

When crews arrived on scene, they located a bungalow style residence with fire in the attic.

Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and had the majority of the flames extinguished in approximately 20 minutes.

At least three people were displaced by the fire.

The cause is unknown at this time.
