SANTA CLARITA. CA, Oct. 16 (KNN) — Two workers were hospitalized after they were exposed to a hazardous chemical at HASA’s chemical manufacturing plant on the 23100 block of Drayton Street in the city of Santa Clarita.
Shortly after 2:45 p.m. Monday, Los Angeles County firefighters requested the area to be sealed off and evacuated.
This marks the second time in three months workers at the location were hospitalized following a chemical spill.
In July, seven people were rushed to a trauma center and nine more treated at the scene after muriatic acid was spilled.
