WINNETKA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (KNN) — A Jack in the Box worker was stabbed in the back overnight and the suspect was still at large as of Tuesday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers and firefighters responded to a reported stabbing shortly after 2 a.m. at the Jack in the Box located in the 6800 block of De Soto Avenue in Winnetka.
Firefighter/paramedics transported the male victim to a local area hospital in stable condition suffering from a stab wound to the back.
An LAPD sergeant at the scene stated that the victim had gone out the back door for a smoke break when they were stabbed by a possible transient.
It is not known at this time what led up to the stabbing.
