Victim Wounded in Shooting at North Hollywood Tiny Home Village

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (KNN) — A gunshot victim was hospitalized following a shooting at a tiny home village in the North Hollywood area within the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and police officers responded to a reported shooting around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the 6000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard near the 170 Freeway.

Upon arriving on scene, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound at the location of the Alexandria Park tiny home village, which opened in April 2021 to help house the homeless.

The patient was transported in unknown condition and LAPD officers remained on scene to investigate the shooting.
