DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19 (KNN) — A solo vehicle crashed into a Downtown Los Angeles apartment building overnight, erupted into flames and left the driver injured.

A rollover crash was reported around 1:14 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of West General Thaddeus Kosciuszko Way and South Olive Street.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division officers were dispatched to the location where they found an overturned vehicle on fire into the apartment building in the 200 block of South Olive Street.
Firefighters quickly attacked the flames and extinguished the fire before it could spread to the apartments.
The solo occupant in the vehicle was located and transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
LAPD’s Central Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the collision.
