SIMI VALLEY, CA, Oct. 30 (KNN) — Gusty Santa Ana wind impacting Simi Valley overnight was caught on camera by Key News Network.

Strong wind was evident at a shopping center in the area of Tapo Canyon Road and Alamo Street where trees and flags were pummeled and string lights swayed as gusty winds rolled through.
A high wind warning is in effect for the region until 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30. A red flag warning has also been issued in light of potential fire danger.
The National Weather Service reports north to northeast 25 to 40 mph winds with gusts 45 to 55 mph with minimum humidity from 5 to 10 percent for Simi Valley.
The windy and dry conditions pose a danger to wildlands. Caution is urged with anything that can spark a wildfire. Residents near severe fire hazard areas should be prepared for evacuations if the need arises.
