2 Dogs Among Several Animals Killed in Santa Clarita House Fire

SANTA CLARITA, CA, Oct. 31 (KNN) — At least two dogs were among several animals killed in a house fire in the Saugus neighborhood of the city of Santa Clarita Monday night.

Firefighters responded to the 28100 block of Oaklar Drive shortly after 8:45 p.m. after several 911 callers reported significant smoke billowing out of a single story, single-family home.

It’s unclear if anyone was inside at the time of the fire, but at least two dogs and other animals perished inside the home.
