1 Killed, 1 Injured in Possible DUI Crash in Saugus

SANTA CLARITA, CA, Nov. 2 (KNN) — One person was killed and another rushed to a hospital following a violent solo SUV wreck at Bouquet Canyon Road and Sutters Pointe Drive in Santa Clarita’s Saugus neighborhood.

The crash was reported at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday outside a Starbucks Coffee shop.

Crews worked for an hour to attempt to get the occupants out. The passenger inside the SUV died as a result of the crash. The driver was transported to the hospital.

Deputies are investigating the crash as DUI-related.
