Lancaster Female Shot in Face Rushed to Hospital

LANCASTER, Calif., Nov. 6 (KNN) — A female was shot Monday evening in Lancaster and rushed to a local hospital by responding paramedics.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding a gunshot victim.

Lancaster deputies responded to Lancaster Boulevard and 2nd Street East where they discovered a female with a gunshot wound to the face.

A suspect was detained at the location, however, it is unconfirmed if he was the shooter.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Antelope Valley Medical Center for her injury. It is unknown at this time what led to the shooting.
