Holidays Kick Off With Family Fun, Tree Lighting Event in Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, Nov. 19 (KNN) — Families gathered Saturday evening around 6 p.m. for holiday fun and a Christmas tree lighting event on Main Street and Lyons Avenue in the Newhall neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

Children were seen enjoying the “Cliff Hanger” slide, snow tubing and interacting with the various costumed characters, as well as taking photos with a very cheerful Santa Claus.

There were food trucks, face painting, and lots of fun for all. The event had something for everyone to inspire the holiday spirit.
