Gunshot Victim Found Dead in South Los Angeles Intersection

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (KNN) — Los Angeles Police Department officers found a fatally shot victim around 12 a.m. Thursday in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

The LAPD’s 77th Division patrol units along with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a man down at the intersection of Gage Avenue and Hoover Street.

Arriving emergency personnel located a gunshot victim, in their 30s, deceased in the street.

The LAPD said there is no suspect description at this time and it is unknown if the victim was a homeless person or if the shooting was gang related.

There is currently no further information.
