SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (KNN) — A driver was killed in a collision involving scaffolding in the West Adams neighborhood within South Los Angeles early Monday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a solo vehicle crash on the 3000 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard.
When crews arrived on scene, they located a pickup truck that had crashed through some scaffolding at a new construction site.
The unidentified driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division is handling the investigation into the cause of the fatal crash.
