PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (KNN) — A trapped driver was observed huffing air duster after a rollover crash in the Pico-Union neighborhood within Central Los Angeles early Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division patrol units responded to reports of a vehicle rollover into parked cars just after 1 a.m. in the 2300 block of West Pico Boulevard.
When first responders arrived on scene, they located a silver sedan on its side with a driver trapped inside.
While the driver was being extricated, he was observed huffing from air duster cans. Witnesses also stated seeing the driver huffing from the cans right after the crash.
The driver was transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital by the LAFD.
Air dusters are cans of compressed air used to clean areas difficult to reach. Inhalant abuse, known as huffing, can have long-term side effects. Some effects may be reversible when inhaling stops, however, damage to the heart, lungs and brain can be permanent, according to sources.
