Los Angeles, CA: A three-vehicle traffic collision occurred on the Southbound 405 Freeway Monday night where one person was fatally struck by a vehicle.

One person was reported trying to flee the collision and it is unknown at this time if that was the person struck and killed.

California Highway Patrol reported a fatality, and that the collision occurred around 10:13 p.m., Monday, Apr. 11, between three vehicles on the Southbound 405 Freeway at Wilshire Boulevard off-ramp in West Los Angeles.

CHP issued a SigAlert and closed the off-ramp and all southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway in the area of the collision.

The incident is under investigation.
