Shots Fired Shatter Minivan Windows on 10 Freeway in Temple City

TEMPLE CITY, Calif., Jan. 5 (KNN) — Shots fired at a minivan traveling the 10 Freeway in Temple City early Friday morning, left the vehicle with shattered windows.

The California Highway Patrol’s East Los Angeles patrol units responded to a call from a motorist around 12:30 a.m. stating their vehicle was fired at while traveling on the 10 Freeway.

The motorist drove to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Temple Station to meet with officers.

The rear window of the victim’s Honda Odyssey minivan was shot out and the front passenger window was shattered. Several impacts were also observed on the rear hatch door of the minivan.

It is unclear at this time if the weapon that was fired was a small caliber firearm or a pellet gun.

The two occupants inside the vehicle were not injured. The CHP is investigating the incident.
