1 Killed, 2 Critically Injured in Traffic Collision Involving 3 Vehicles in Valley Glen

VALLEY GLEN, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (KNN) — A traffic collision involving three vehicles in Valley Glen Saturday afternoon left one fatally injured and multiple others hospitalized including a child, according to preliminary reports from the scene.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a reported traffic collision around 12:51 p.m. on the 6100 block of North Woodman Avenue where arriving firefighters located two patients trapped in the wreckage.

Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Richard Moody from Truck 39 at the scene, reported that five patients total were transported to area hospitals, and one required extrication prior to transport.

Two of the five patients were reported to be in critical condition, according to the LAFD. One person declined offered transportation at the scene.

One of the patients was pronounced deceased at the hospital, according to the LAPD.
