Investigation Underway Into Bakersfield Fatal Shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Jan. 7 (KNN) — A gunshot victim was discovered lying dead in the roadway after a reported shooting in East Bakersfield.

Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies were on scene handling an investigation into the shooting death of an unidentified person found in the street at Eucalyptus Drive and Sterling Road around 9 p.m. Sunday.

Multiple homicide detectives were on scene as well. The area was blocked off with crime scene tape.
