4 Suspects Including 1 Juvenile Rob 7-Eleven in Central Los Angeles

PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (KNN) — An armed robbery occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday at the 7-Eleven convenience store located at the intersection of Burlington and Olympic Boulevard in the Pico-Union neighborhood within Central Los Angeles.

The suspects were initially described as a Hispanic male and female with the male being armed with a dark colored handgun. The suspects fled in a dark blue Kia sedan. An unknown amount of US currency was taken.

Witnesses told officers at the scene that the suspects also had an approximately 12-year-old child with them while committing the armed robbery.

There are a total of four suspects, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division, three of the suspects are teens. The fourth suspect is a juvenile around 12 years old, as witnesses at the scene had stated.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division is handling the investigation.

According to an update per the LAPD, the same suspects are wanted in connection with a second armed robbery which occurred in the 4300 block of North Figueroa Street in LAPD’s Northeast Division. The details of that robbery were not immediately available from the LAPD.

The suspects are currently outstanding, reported the LAPD.
