Victim Stabbed Multiple Times in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Jan. 13 (KNN) — A stabbing in the city of Bakersfield Friday evening left one victim with multiple stab wounds.

The violent incident occurred on Ridgeview Street in east Bakersfield shortly before 7:30 p.m.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports regarding a victim who had been stabbed multiple times at an apparent residence.

The victim was treated and transported by responding paramedics to a local hospital. The condition of the wounded victim was not immediately known. Deputies were on scene handling the investigation.

Air 1 helicopter support assisted in trying to locate the suspect involved in the stabbing, however, the search was unsuccessful and the suspect is still outstanding.
