Suspected Arsonist Torches 3 Vehicles in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 (KNN) — Arson is suspected to be the cause of multiple vehicle fires overnight in the Historic South-Central neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of an auto fire around 2:30 a.m. in the area of South McKinley Avenue and East 41st Place.

While en route, crews were notified that an additional vehicle was set on fire by an unknown subject in the area.

The fire to the third vehicle, a silver van, was quickly extinguished by the owner.
