View Park-Windsor Hills, Los Angeles, CA: A dark colored two-door vehicle overturned after impacting a palm tree at a high rate of speed killing the driver early Thursday morning.

The collision occurred at 12:20 a.m., Apr. 14, in the 5000 block of Angeles Vista Boulevard in View Park-Windsor Hills, an unincorporated area in the South Los Angeles region of Los Angeles County.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers to the location.

A single occupant driver was pronounced deceased in the vehicle. LACoFD worked to extricate the victim from the vehicle.

CHP is handling the investigation. LA County Coroner was notified and responded to the scene.
