Shooting in Gardena Sparked by Apparent Domestic Dispute

GARDENA, Calif., Jan. 23 (KNN) — A shooting occurred Monday night in the city of Gardena as a result of an apparent domestic dispute, according authorities at the scene.

Gardena Police Department officers responded to a shooting around 10:47 p.m. on Cimarron Avenue just south of El Segundo Boulevard.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a silver SUV with several shell casings on the ground next to the vehicle. A female associated with the vehicle spoke with officers on scene and was somewhat uncooperative.

Per officers at the scene speaking off camera, the incident stemmed from some sort of domestic dispute.

There are no further details at this time.
