LAPD Officer Injured Chasing Armed Suspect in Canoga Park

CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (KNN) — A Los Angeles Police Department Topanga Division officer was injured while in foot pursuit of an armed suspect in the area of Saticoy Street and Deering Avenue in Canoga Park Sunday night around 9:20 p.m.

The LAPD officer was transported to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. His condition is unknown.

The suspect was apprehended by additional officers at the scene a short time later without further incident.
