Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Hydrant Floods Street in Woodland Hills Neighborhood

WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (KNN) — Water from a broken hydrant as a result of a a hit-and-run collision, gushed down a residential street in Woodland Hills overnight.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department and police department responded to a vehicle collision at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday in the 4600 block of Poe Avenue.

When units arrived, they found a black Mercedes sedan abandoned that was crashed into a fire hydrant. The water from the hydrant gushed down the hill, flooding sidewalks and the street.

No injuries were reported. LAPD is investigating the collision.
