Large Tree Falls in Valley Village During Windy Winter Rainstorm

VALLEY VILLAGE, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 (KNN) — A large tree fell in Valley Village just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday as an intense winter storm continues to pound the Southland with rain and strong wind gusts.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received calls regarding a large tree down along with electrical wires in the 12600 block of West Tiara Street.

The LAFD requested the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to respond for the downed wires.

No injuries were reported.
