Washout Shuts Down Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu

MALIBU, Calif., Feb. 6 (KNN) — The Pacific Coast Highway (SR-1) has been closed in both directions due to a washout along the coast at Thornhill Broome Beach near Sandy Dune during the recent winter rainstorm.

The closure on the north end is at SR-1/Las Posas Road, and SR-1/Sycamore Canyon Road on the south end.

The duration of the closure is unknown at this time.
