Shooting Victim Found Dead in South Los Angeles Alley

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (KNN) — A male was found shot to death in an alley in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of South Los Angeles late Sunday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division patrol units responded to reports of shots heard with a vehicle speeding away in an alley off Figueroa and 77th streets around 11:46 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down in the alley with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There are no further details at this time.
