Pair of Great Horned Owls Return to Stevenson Ranch to Raise 3 Owlets

STEVENSON RANCH, Calif., Feb. 16 (KNN) — Parenting can make you a tad bit tired and these two Great Horned owls would agree as they appear to resist the urge to doze while watching over their brood.

The owls have a comfy nest in a high recessed area, apparently for attic venting, in the stone facade of the Valencia Optometry business within the Westridge Village Shopping Center on The Old Road and Silver Aspen Way in the Stevenson Ranch community.

Local residents enjoy seeing the owls return each year. This year, the owls have returned to raise their three owlets and were captured on video at the location at 3 p.m. Friday by Key News Network.
