Mount Vernon, MO: Around 8 p.m. Friday, Apr. 15, a crash occurred near Mount Vernon involving an overturned tractor trailer blocking all westbound lanes of I-44.

First responders were dispatched, emergency personal and Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

Multiple towing companies assisted with the incident. Injuries are not known at this time and the Highway was shut down for a number of hours.
