Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Mar. 4 (KNN) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision Sunday night in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian call just after 10 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Avalon Boulevard.

When first responders arrived on scene, they located a deceased victim down in the street.

There is no suspect vehicle description at this time.

The LAPD’s South Traffic Division is investigating the fatal incident.
