Violent Traffic Collision Leaves 2 Dead in Altadena

ALTADENA, Calif., Mar. 5 (KNN) — Two people were found trapped and deceased inside a mangled vehicle after a violent crash overnight.

The reported traffic collision occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Loma Alta Drive near Glenrose Avenue in the unincorporated community of Altadena.

When responding firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived on scene, they found a collision involving two vehicles with one completely destroyed. The fire department stated that two people were trapped inside the vehicle deceased.

According to sources, the vehicle collided with another vehicle, then subsequently crashed and flipped over.

The vehicle came to rest on a curb where a brick structure was observed damaged from the impact.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene for the investigation.
