3 Shot at East Los Angeles Restaurant, Responding Sheriff’s Patrol Vehicles Crash

EAST LOS ANGELES, Mar. 18 (KNN) — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were injured in a crash while en route to the scene of a shooting overnight at a restaurant where three people were reported wounded.

A shooting occurred around 12:50 a.m. Monday at the Los Arcos Restaurant/Bar in the 5700 block of Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles where three people were shot following an argument.

Two of the victims at the scene were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

Deputies located a third victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside a pickup truck at East Beverly and South Atlantic boulevards. The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

While responding to the incident, two sheriff’s department patrol vehicles were involved in a crash that left one patrol vehicle into a structure. A total of three deputies were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

The suspect(s) remain outstanding at this time.
