Pickup Truck Slams Into Pool Supply Business in Winnetka Hit-and-Run Collision

WINNETKA, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 18 (KNN) — A pickup truck that slammed into a business within a strip mall late Sunday night was left behind by the fleeing driver and passenger.

Los Angeles police officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a reported traffic collision just after 11:30 p.m. in the 8200 block of North De Soto Avenue in Winnetka.

Upon arrival, a pickup truck was found about half way into the front of a pool supply store at the location. The LAPD reported that two people fled from the vehicle.

No injuries have been reported.

The LAFD had turned off the gas to the building and the cause of the crash is under investigation by LAPD.
