Stolen Vehicle Suspect in Custody After High-Speed Pursuit

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 20 (KNN) — A suspect is in custody after the California Highway Patrol pursued a stolen vehicle Tuesday evening from West Los Angeles to the Sylmar neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley.

The driver in a stolen blue SUV with Texas license plates, led the CHP on a chase that had reached 120 miles per hour on the Golden State Freeway into residential streets.

The pursuit terminated just after 8 p.m. on San Fernando Road and Truman Street with CHP taking one suspect into custody.

Per CHP, the other suspect fled the scene.
