Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Into Downtown Los Angeles Metro Bus

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Mar. 27 (KNN) — A driver suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, crashed into a Metro Bus in Downtown Los Angeles early Wednesday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division patrol units responded to the intersection of Alameda and 6th streets around 1:43 a.m. for a crash involving a Metro bus.

Arriving officers found a damaged white sedan that had collided with the left side of the bus at the intersection.

The driver of the sedan was transported to the hospital and suspected of DUI, per LAPD at the scene.

The bus driver was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
