LOS ANGELES, Apr. 12 (KNN) — At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic collision that reportedly involved gunfire before the crash occurred.
The fatal collision was reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 4800 block of West Adams Boulevard in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of West Adams.
One of the vehicles was observed driving at a high rate of speed down the street. A white vehicle then collided with a vehicle turning at the intersection of West Adams and Harcourt Avenue, according to two witnesses at the scene who spoke to Key News Network on-camera. The vehicle ended up crashing into a building on the corner.
The witnesses also stated that the driver of the white vehicle was possibly involved in a shooting prior to the crash.
One person was seen being treated at the scene by LAFD paramedics and it was unclear if they were transported to a hospital. Another person appeared to be uninjured.
