Man Wounded in Downtown Bakersfield Shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. Apr. 22 (KNN) — A shooting victim was located in the downtown area of Bakersfield early Monday morning.

Bakersfield police officers responded to a shot spotter activation around 1:47 a.m. in the area of L Street and 21st Street where arriving officers located one adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Responding medical personnel treated the man at the scene and then transported him by ambulance to a local hospital. The patient’s condition was not immediately known.

The Bakersfield PD investigated the scene and is continuing with the shooting investigation.
