CASTAIC, Calif. Apr. 30 (KNN) — A black bear roamed a Castaic neighborhood Monday morning, knocking on doors before barricading in a tree.
California Fish and Wildlife biologists and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were on the scene and had sealed off the area on Violin Canyon Road between Castaic Road and Ridge Route Road.
The bear appeared to be more than content to just lounge in the tree on a breezy day as human beings below prepared to humanely remove the bear from the neighborhood.
It is unknown at this time how and when the bear left the area.
