Vermont Knolls, Los Angeles, CA: A man fired multiple shots at the scene of a car accident Wednesday night at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and West 80th Street in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Multiple calls reporting shots fired at the scene of a traffic collision were initially reported at 9:50 p.m. Apr. 20, 2022.

LAPD 77th Division officers responded and located a two-vehicle traffic collision in the intersection. An unknown suspect in a white sedan who was involved in the collision, exited his vehicle, fired multiple rounds from an unknown type handgun, then fled the location.

The suspect reportedly fled in a white sedan.

Los Angeles Fire Department responded and evaluated a woman who was involved in the collision. The woman, along with all other victims, were evaluated and released at the scene.

There is no further suspect description at this time.
