Suspect Shoots at Young Adult Male Multiple Times in Los Angeles Neighborhood

LOS ANGELES, May 28 (KNN) — A 20-year-old male was shot at multiple times by a suspect driving a vehicle in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles overnight.

The shooting was reported at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, on Normandie Avenue and the 10 Freeway, according to the LAPD.

The victim was walking eastbound on Normandie when a male in his mid to late 20s driving a vehicle, approached and fired multiple times at the victim, according to Officer Lee, spokesperson for the LAPD.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital. Lee told KNN that the victim is in stable condition.

Lee added that the suspect fled the scene southbound in his vehicle.
