Large Rubbish Fire Spreads Into South Los Angeles Home

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, June 9 (KNN) — A large rubbish fire extended into a nearby home early Sunday morning in the South Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a fire shortly after 1:30 a.m. in a parking lot within the 100 block of East 51st Street.

LAFD arrived at the scene and found that the fire had extended into a single-story residence on the east side of the fire.

All residents were able to evacuate and no injuries have been reported at this time. Knockdown was achieved in approximately 10 minutes.
