Shooting in Santa Clarita Under Investigation

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., June 11 (KNN) — Multiple bullet casings were located on a street in the city of Santa Clarita late Monday night prompting an investigation by authorities.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from the Newhall Station are investigating a confirmed shooting where they found about six 9mm bullet casings on Walnut Street between 16th Street and Walnut Cottage Lane, according to sources.

One witness at the location told deputies they saw a white van leaving the scene with a group of teenagers wearing dark clothes and face masks.

No injuries were reported. Deputies had the intersection blocked off while they recovered the evidence and investigated the scene.
